This means that when you arrive at a location you set the unit up, and you take the unit down before you hit the road. This technology is 5G ready and provides maximum signal inside your RV. The initial DIY installation process takes approximately 30 minutes, and each subsequent takedown and setup takes about 10 minutes. Yes, the WeBoost can be used with your Pepwave. Here’s how: The WeBoost boosts the signal and rebroadcasts it into your RV. This will not create a wifi network for you, but it will create a boosted "zone" in your RV where you can have better call reception and access data faster (apps, internet, email). If you add a Pepwave Cellular Router to this kit and place it near the boosted zone created by the WeBoost, then you can use the boosted cell signal to create a wifi network within your RV.
Yes, you can absolutely do this. We recommend contacting WeBoost to be sure you have the proper connectors and/or converters to install in this way.
If your signal strength is good without the WeBoost, then using it could actually negatively affect the signal, so it is best to test for a cell signal when you arrive at a destination and only use the WeBoost if it is low.
It depends on which model you have. The WeBoost Destination has an directional antenna with a 75 db gain, which is more than the max gain allowed by the FCC on a vehicle that is in motion. The WeBoost Drive Reach uses an omnidirectional antenna with a 50dB gain and can be used in motion.
