The Poynting 7-in-1 MIMO antenna is a high performance multi-frequency antenna within a single housing, providing four cellular, two Wi-Fi and a GPS antenna. The four cellular MIMO antennas (for 2G/3G/4G) cover the contemporary 698 MHz to 2700 MHz bands, as well as the new emerging LTE and 5G spectrum for 450MHz and 3.5GHz CBRS bands, which is becoming popular across the various international cellular network operators for LTE. The ultra-wideband performance of the antenna allows it to be used across different operators and technologies and is ready for future cellular technologies up to 3.8 GHz for 5G applications. The antenna also provides two separate dual-band Wi-Fi antennas, providing concurrent 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz on each antenna with 2×2 MIMO capability. The seventh antenna is a high-performance active GPS system operating down to -40°C. The Poynting 7-in-1 MIMO antenna was specially designed for the transportation industry, making it an excellent choice for RV and marine use.

It means that there are 5 or 7 different antennas inside one device. You can see which antennas are included in the Features tab of each antenna, but the most common arrangement for 5-in-1 is 2 cellular antennas, 2 WiFi antennas, and 1 GPS antenna which is perfect for single-modem Pepwave routers. 7-in-1 antennas usually include 4 cellular, 2 WIFi and 1 GPS antenna inside one device and are perfect for dual modem Pepwave routers.

MIMO stands for Multiple Input - Multiple Output and is a wireless technology that uses multiple transmitters and receivers to transfer more data at the same time.

Directional antennas must be pointed at the signal source in order to work while an omni-directional antenna doesn't need to be adjusted to access signal in the area.

7-in-1 antenna works great!

Have my Pepwave for almost 3 years without the antenna. Having reliable internet access is essential for my IT job (and streaming) as we have decided to go back on the road full-time. First 2 RV parks the connection was mediocre at best and the connectivity at the 3rd park was horrible. Got the antenna installed and the difference is nothing short of amazing! No problems with any buffering or stable connectivity on multiple TV’s or laptops. Highly recommended for partnering with the Pepwave! Bonus? Was able to remove all antennas including the huge Winegard monster from my RV roof!

It will work in a Airstream Bambi 22FB

I installed this in my Airstream Bambi 22FB with no problem. Once I got over drilling a hole in the roof with the extension provided in the box it worked great. I was able to pick up wifi and 5 bars on my cell where I was not able to before. Thank you!
