Tire Pressure and the TST TPMS - Video Library

The most important thing in RV tire safety is to run with the proper amount of pressure for your RV, and that could be different than the pressure someone else with the same RV runs in their tires.

There is a specific way to determine the correct tire pressure for your RV.  Watch the video below where Eric explains this:

Now that you know what your correct tire pressure should be, you will need a Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) to monitor your tires at all times.  Tire pressure can drop and tires can heat up while you are driving and without a TPMS in place, you will never know...until it is too late.

To help you better understand what a TPMS does and how it works, watch the video below where Eric goes over everything you need to know about the TST TPMS:

So you've decided you need a TST Tire Pressure Monitoring System, but which sensor is right for your RV?  There are 2 main sensor types: the cap sensor and the flow through sensor, and although they both monitor temperature and pressure in your tires, they have different applications they are best suited for.

We took a trip to a local RV dealer to show you some of the common tire valve stem configurations and show you which sensors would work best for each:

In January 2023, TST launched their new TST 770 system which includes a new upgraded touchscreen monitor.  The TST 770 monitor works with all TST 507 sensors that have a date code of 4519 (45th week of 2019) and newer, and we have the TST 770 individual monitors available at TechnoRV for those current TST 507 users that want to upgrade their monitor.

Have the new TST 770 TPMS monitor already?  Leave a comment below and let us know what you think of it!

For those new to TST, you can choose either the TST 507 TPMS kit or the TST 770 TPMS kit at TechnoRV. Remember, you can mix-and-match cap and flow through sensors with each kit, and you will have the choice to add sensors to the kit right on the product page.

To learn more about the new TST 770 TPMS and the features they added to this system, check out the video below:

If you have any questions about the TST TPMS or any of the products at TechnoRV, please contact us.  We are happy to answer any questions you have.

Will the internal sensor batter continue to run down when the RV is stored?
