Big News from TechnoRV: A New Chapter Begins

We’ve got exciting news to share — TechnoRV is entering a new chapter with familiar faces you may already know!

After an amazing journey owning TechnoRV since 2014, Eric and Tami Johnson have passed the torch to new owners… but don’t worry, they’re not strangers. In fact, if you’ve been to an RV rally or show in the past couple of years, you’ve probably already met them!

We’re thrilled to officially introduce Michael and Randi Kilbourne as the new owners of TechnoRV.

Michael and Randi aren’t new to TechnoRV — or the RV lifestyle. They’ve been full-time RVers since 2019, and from the moment they hit the road, they were hooked by the sense of freedom and the welcoming RV community. Since then, they’ve traveled across the country, gaining firsthand insight into what RVers need to make life on the road smoother, safer, and more enjoyable.

They’ve also worked in the RV industry for several years, attending over 30 RV shows and rallies a year, meeting directly with RVers, listening to their stories, and helping them find the right products to fit their unique needs.  Micheal is a highly respected product expert and presents over 150 educational seminars every year.  Two years ago, they joined the TechnoRV team and quickly became a core part of the crew. If you’ve met them at a TechnoRV booth or attended one of their seminars, you already know how passionate they are about educating and supporting RVers.

This kind of hands-on experience — both as RVers and as team members — makes them uniquely qualified to lead TechnoRV into its next chapter. They are product experts, already know and love our customers, and they’re passionate about continuing the company’s legacy of helpful education, great support, and high-quality products.

A Note from Eric and Tami

“When Tami and I started with TechnoRV in 2014, we had no idea just how incredible this journey would be,” said Eric Johnson. “It’s been an honor to serve this community and grow alongside so many of you. But the time has come to hand things over, and we couldn’t imagine better people for the job. Michael and Randi are the real deal — they understand what TechnoRV is all about and we know they will carry it forward with the same care and vision we had for it.”

Eric and Tami will continue to be available during the transition to support Michael and Randi and ensure a smooth handoff.

What This Means for You

Honestly? Not much is changing — and that’s a good thing. You’ll still get the same great service, the same handpicked product selection, and the same commitment to educating and supporting RVers. But you will see some new energy and fresh ideas as Michael and Randi bring their passion and experience to the forefront.

A Little More About the Kilbournes

Although they live in their RV, Michael and Randi consider South Carolina their home state. They have two adult children, and their son even works with them behind the scenes at TechnoRV as a software and automation engineer. (Yes, it’s truly a family business!)

When they’re not on the road or at an RV show, Michael enjoys music, photography, and volunteer work while Randi enjoys diamond painting and spending time with their grandson.  

We’re so excited about this next chapter and grateful to have Michael and Randi at the helm. They’re dedicated to serving the RV community with the same values TechnoRV was built on: honesty, education, and connection.
