Installation is a snap. It will auto pair and then you push the aux camera button to view. If you are planning to use this camera on a trailer being towed with a 2021-22 F150, make sure the 12 pin harness is fully terminated. If that harness only has 2 wires, this camera will not work. However, the rear bumper harness is an easy swap, just get the VIN for a Lariat or Platinum trim F150, and order the rear bumper harness for it. The harness is plug and play, and it is around a 30 minute job to swap. You will have two connectors left over, one at each end of the harness. They are for trucks with automated parking assist. They can be left unplugged, i folded mine back across the harness and taped them off. If you start athe the center of the truck, the plugs line right up with their respective connections. 23 and up trucks need to swap the 7/4 connector in the bumper to the 7/12 connector, and use the capped off harness next to the 7 pin connector.

View a trailer camera on the factory screen in a compatible Ford Super Duty or Ram HD truck. This wireless kit integrates with supported factory camera systems, so a separate dash monitor is not needed. Fitment depends on the truck equipment, screen and camera connector.

Ford: Ultimate Trailer Tow System (option 874) and SYNC 3 with 8-inch screen or SYNC 4 with 12-inch screen.

Ram: Auxiliary Camera Prep Package (XFQ) and Uconnect with 8.4- or 12-inch screen. Additional harnesses or dealer programming may be required.

This kit uses the compatible truck 12-pin camera receptacle above the 7-way connector.

Camera still requires a wired power connection.

Wireless range is a line-of-sight rating. Vehicle construction, obstructions and installation can reduce range.
