The RV Whisper is not hard to set up, and TechnoRV sends a detailed Learning Series to help with this. They are also available by phone if you have any issues.
You can add 35 or more total sensors to an RV Whisper Monitor Station. Most sensors allow up to 10 of each type, e.g. up to 10 Temperature & Humidity Sensors, and up to 10 Water Leak Sensors. For the latest list of RV Whisper Supported Sensors, visit this page: https://rvwhisper.com/sensors
The first year subscription is included in the purchase price. Additional subscriptions are $42 per year. Note the RV Whisper Monitor Station will continue to log data and allow local viewing of the data without a subscription. The subscription is needed for Cloud Services (email and text alerts, secure remote access), and also for Software Updates to the Monitor Station. Software updates provide additional sensor integrations as well as bug fixes and other improvements.
Internet access is only needed to send email and text alerts as well as to provide remote access to see the sensor data. Internet access is not required for the RV Whisper Monitor Station to collect and log the data and for users to see the data when they are in their RV. All sensor data is stored in the RV.
